Comparison

Cognifyze is in early access. Lansy AI is in stores.

Both start from the same observation: most of what happens between a customer and an employee in a physical space is never recorded, and a sample cannot replace it. The difference today is what each product can show you.

Shared ground

A census, not a sample

Cognifyze describes its method as consent-first and census-style: every interaction, not a handful of visits. Lansy AI has run on the same principle since the first pilot. Where the two part ways is everything after the recording: what the employee gets, what the manager gets, and where the data goes.

What Cognifyze has published

  • A thesis: the physical world generates more signal than anyone is measuring, and the company is building the infrastructure to capture it.
  • A device, shown without specifications, and a log-in for partners.
  • A privacy stance: consent first, no individual shopper identification, and a benchmark report announced for later.

What Lansy AI shows today

  • Each employee’s own review after every conversation: what worked, what to try next, and the line it is based on.
  • Whether the service standard holds across every shift, by employee and by location.
  • What customers ask for, where offers are missed, and which phrases close, counted across the chain.

The real difference

The recording is the start. The review is the product.

Both companies agree that the conversation at the counter has to be recorded, with consent, every time. Cognifyze has built a device for that and is choosing partners to work with. What the business will see afterwards has not been published yet.

Lansy AI already shows it: about a minute after a conversation the employee opens a review with the score against the company’s own standard, the exact quote, and a suggestion for next time. The manager sees the same review and the trend across the chain. That is the part a buyer should ask any vendor to show on real conversations before signing.

Consent and privacy

Both put consent first

Cognifyze states that it does not identify individual shoppers. Lansy AI removes personal data before analysis and records only after both the employee and the customer agree, as UAE law requires for recording private conversations.

One more thing is public on the Lansy AI side: the employee reads the same review the manager does, with the quote it is based on, and can dispute any conclusion. How Cognifyze handles the employee’s view is not yet described.

When Cognifyze is the better fit

If you want to shape a product, not buy one

Cognifyze is looking for a small group of partners to work with on hard problems. If your chain wants a seat at that table and can wait for the product to take shape, early access is the way in. Lansy AI fits a chain that needs a working review on its own conversations this month, in Arabic and English, with data kept in the region.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

They start from the same idea: record every in-store conversation with consent instead of sampling. Lansy AI is deployed and shows reviews to employees and managers. Cognifyze is in early access and has not yet published what its product delivers.
