Lansy AI for cafes & restaurants

Lansy AI shows which upsells and service moments each shift misses

Lansy AI turns guest conversations into a clear shift review. It shows missed upsells, service quality, how the team keeps to the standards, and where each employee can grow.

A shift review from every guest conversation

Lansy AI splits each conversation into the key stages of service, from the greeting to the upsell. Instead of hours of listening, the manager gets a ready shift review.

Service management without manual shift reviews or mystery shoppers

Lansy AI collects all the data in one place. The manager sees right away what happens at each location, what works best, and where the problems and missed opportunities are.

Works with what you already have

Lansy AI reads conversations from the sources you already use and adds what your POS does not record: how the conversation itself went.

POS and CRM

Not needed to start: the conversations alone are enough. An integration links conversations to the check and the menu categories.

Telephony and audio feeds

If you already record calls or have an audio feed, Lansy AI connects to it.

Microphones at the counter

Compact microphones go at the counter, the bar, and the register. No cameras or video are involved.

Guest data is protected before analysis begins

Personal details are masked at the moment of transcription, before any text goes out for analysis. Data stays on infrastructure in the region where you work, the UAE or Saudi Arabia, in an isolated workspace for your company. Both the employee and the guest agree before anything is recorded.

FAQ

What cafes and restaurants ask first

More answers in the guide, or write to sales@lansy.ai.

How does Lansy AI help grow the average check in a coffee shop or restaurant?

It shows where the team does not offer an add-on, which offers come too late or sound perfunctory, which lines work better, and how the result changes from shift to shift. The manager sees the specific moments for an add-on on every shift, not one overall score.

How is this different from a mystery shopper?

A mystery shopper checks one scenario at one moment. Lansy AI reviews the whole flow of real conversations and shows the patterns by location, shift, and employee: the full picture of service rather than a one-off snapshot.

Does it work in a noisy room or at the bar?

Yes. Lansy AI is built for in-person locations: cafes, restaurants, quick-service restaurants, bakeries, and other formats where the team talks to guests face to face. Compact microphones sit in the service area: at the register, the bar, and the counter. The models are trained to pick the employee–guest conversation out of the room noise. In difficult acoustics some lines can be lost, so at the start we check the recording quality at every location.

Do we need to connect the POS or the CRM?

Not to start: the conversations alone are enough. A POS or CRM integration links conversations to the check, the menu categories, and business metrics when you want to go deeper.

What does the employee see?

Recommendations rather than a penalty report: what went well, where an opportunity was missed, and what to try in the next conversation. The personal report is visible only to the employee and the manager, and there are no public rankings inside the team.

Can we start with one location?

Yes. A pilot can run at a limited number of locations, so you can compare shifts, see the first patterns, and judge how it would scale to the whole chain.

Does Lansy AI work for restaurants, not only coffee shops?

Yes. In a restaurant, Lansy AI reviews the work of servers, hosts, and floor managers: dish recommendations, drink and dessert upsells, the service standard, and how conflicts are handled.

Does it work in Arabic?

Yes. Lansy AI transcribes and reviews conversations in Arabic, English, or a mix of both, including conversations that switch languages midway.

Do employees have to agree to recording?

Yes. Both the employee and the guest agree before anything is recorded. Either can withdraw at any time, and their data is deleted, unless the law requires keeping it longer.
