What really differs
Granola writes notes for whoever turned it on. After the meeting Lansy gives every participant their own agreements and tasks — nothing to forward.
Every meeting is scored against your competency matrix: each employee builds a skill profile, and the manager sees who to praise and who to coach.
Granola has to be started by hand for each meeting — forget, and the meeting is lost. Lansy Desk records on its own and keeps the audio on your computer.

Both are bot-free — so what's the difference?
Granola is a personal notepad: one private note for the person who pressed record. Lansy Desk is built for teams — every participant gets their own summary and tasks, every meeting is scored, and managers see each employee's skill profile against the company's competency matrix.
Does Granola keep the audio?
No. It transcribes in real time and keeps only the transcript and notes, in a US-hosted AWS cloud. If the transcript got something wrong, there's no audio to go back to. Lansy Desk saves the recording on your own computer first.
Does Granola train AI on my meetings?
By default Granola trains its own models on anonymised customer data. You can opt out, and Enterprise has training off by default.
Does Granola work on every device?
Granola runs on macOS 14+, Windows, iOS, Android and Apple Watch — broader than Lansy on mobile. There's no Linux app; Lansy Desk has one.
