Microphone picks up speech
The guest asks for a flat white. A microphone at the counter hears it.
Lansy never stores recordings. Sound is turned into text and facts on a small device in your space, and only the analysis results are saved.
The employee and the guest each say yes, in their own way. If either one doesn’t, nothing is recorded.

They give consent in their Lansy account and can take it back there at any time. Until they agree, none of their conversations are recorded.

Before each conversation the tablet asks them in Arabic and English. Recording starts only when they tap “Yes, please.”
Each consent and refusal is stored with time and place. Employees withdraw in their account, fully or for a chosen period; guests during the visit or after it. Their data is then deleted.
The guest asks for a flat white. A microphone at the counter hears it.
One reply at a time sits in the device’s memory, just long enough to become text.
Speech becomes text, split into each person’s turns.
Once the text is ready, the sound is overwritten.
Names, phone numbers and card details are permanently removed on the device.
What the guest and the employee said stays on the device. Only facts about the service are kept.
The text is deleted, and only the facts are encrypted and sent to Lansy.
Against your standards, with advice for the next shift.
The tablet shows the question in Arabic and English.
Recording starts. The consent is logged with time and place. “No, thanks” means nothing starts.
A small dot shows on the tablet while recording.
The employee ends the recording. A guest who changes their mind can stop it, and what was sent is deleted.

A tablet that asks for consent, and a microphone for every employee: a wired one for a fixed counter, a wearable one for staff on the move. Every device is bought in the UAE and imported legally, and our team installs it on site.
What the law asks, and where we stand today.
Consent first, by law.

This page describes how Lansy works. It is not legal advice.
No. Nothing is recorded until the guest taps “Yes, please”, and a small dot shows on the tablet while recording is on.
A system that removes names, phone numbers and card details before analysis. Managers see scores and quotes for their team, never a guest’s number.
Then nothing is recorded, and the service stays the same. The refusal is logged with its time, so a forgotten recording can’t carry over.
Yes. During the visit the employee stops the recording and what was sent is deleted. After the visit, the guest can email privacy@lansy.ai or ask at the counter.
Yes, once, in their Lansy account before the first shift. Without it their conversations are never recorded. They can pause or withdraw any time.
Every consent and refusal is logged with time and place. Purpose, retention and recipients are fixed in the service agreement and the DPA.
